Germplasm Releases & Notices
California Leafy Greens reports are listed by the date and project name. Germplasm releases happen when the breeders “release” germplasm (a.k.a. breeding material) for seed companies to use in their breeding programs. The germplasm will have resistance to a disease or have better horticultural traits (like drought or salt tolerance).
